I've just checked the new version of Hermann Seib's VSThost (v1.14) and can confirm that loading files now works properly. SAVIhost v1.04 (which is based on VSThost) also works fine. SAVIhost is a neat version of VSThost that is dedicated towards hosting a single plug-in. In effect, this engenders the standalone version of reViSiT.

Both work with ASIO and have native VST keyboard support (rather than requiring any messy Win32 hacks).
