Hi there!

Sorry to hear of your troubles - internationalisation support is somewhat basic in reViSiT at the moment. Infact, all there is is a couple of extra key shortcuts to support nuances in US and German keyboards. However, one of the next major priorities is user-configurable keyboard shortcuts, which will implicitly support other keyboard layouts.

In the meantime, I have two potential workarounds. Firstly, you might be able to use the [.] on the Numeric Pad, if you have one. Alternatively, you might experiment with adding a UK/US input language to Windows (which will be easily switchable), and then working out where the appropriate keys are. Neither are elegant solutions, but I hope they help a bit!

Best,
Chris

Same issue with Spanish keyboard.

There is another workaround, you have to go to the pattern order-midi screen with "F11", the select or enter the number of the pattern in the list, or enter the new one if you need, then pressing "G" or "Ctrl-G", (i don't remember) sends you straight to the pattern.

Altough this solution is usable, in the pattern editor i would change the PgUp and PgDw keys to move between patterns, and then the function of moving up and down 4 bars (i think), could be done with "Alt + Arrow Up&Down". Could be a shame to lose 100% IT keyboard layout, but i think that it's better and less time consuming than write a hotkey editor. In my case it's not working because it's a laptop and in the Spanish layout you have to press shift or Alt to enter those simbols.

Since reViSiT 1.1, users are now able to define their own keys, should you find any that aren't working with your keyboard locale. Choose Preferences (F12) and then click the Key Shortcuts button.
