| Hello all,
Has anyone experienced problems with samples disappearing after saving, closing, and re-loading the host+reViSiT? I can load an old .IT module and it'll save fine, but if I add any new samples they go away upon closing and reopening the file - or more specifically, everything stays intact (including sample names), except the new samples are playing at a barely perceptible volume and have turned to bitcrushed distortion, and no longer appear in the waveform display.
Aside from that, modules save properly, so I'm tracking VSTi's no problem. Sample-based compositions also work just fine until I close and reopen them.

Thanks for your feedback - I can't reproduce your problem, I'm afraid. The Module Data option in reViSiT's feedback feature doesn't include any sample data, so it'd be really useful if you can send me (by email):
* An old .IT file exhibiting the problem.
* A saved reViSiT (.zip) file exhibiting the problem.
* A sample file exhibiting the problem.
* A step-by-step procedure for reproducing the problem.
Are you saving via the host (SONAR menu, Save option), or to a separate .zip file?
'Hope I can help!
Best,

I've had a look and worked out that it's because you're trying to load 24-bit samples - it has nothing to do with .IT files. reViSiT was limiting the amplitude of the saved samples to 16-bit limits. I'm happy to say that the next release will be able to handle 24- and 32-bit samples.
Thanks for your help!
