Location: England | The pitch bug you describe isn't really a bug, but a nuance of the IT2 legacy. If you look at the Exx/Fxx help, and that for most other slides, you'll notice that such effects are only applied in the subrows - not on the main row itself. Your initial F10 effect is effectively redundant, because you cancel the effect in the next subrow. However, you should be able to replace that initial effect with a Fine Pitch (FF1) command, which is designed to make the slide on the main rows (and only on them):

It may seem an esoteric way to do things, but I believe the idea behind IT2's one frame delay in the pitch slide was to ensure the original pitch is heard for at least a frame, before the slide is applied. |
