Hi Everyone,

Many thanks to those who have provided feedback over the last few weeks. This release (v0.85.5) is relatively minor, and should solve problems without creating new ones, featuring as it does:

·      Improved host support, including AudioMulch and EnergyXT (plus keyboard support for Magix Samplitude, which is still suffering playback problems). Other hosts should also no longer suffer problems with keyboard issues, due to...

·      More flexible keyboard support. reViSiT now defaults to Auto keyboard mode, when loaded in a  host it doesn't recognise. It can then easily switch (using the mouse) to Manual mode, using either the K-key icon in the bottom-right of the reViSiT window, or the Ctrl-Alt-K keyboard combination.

·      Main Menu / Welcome Screen, which is presented to the user when they enter the program and when they hit the ESC key. It allows easy navigation (even using the mouse) around the different parts of the program.

This, hopefully (again), will mark the last update before 0.86, which is to feature MIDI support. There are now very few reports of incompatible hosts ? Renoise and Samplitude are the only incompatible hosts currently known to me.
