I'm sure everyone's noticed the lack of the promised release. This is due to a) too much professional work, and b) my computer going belly up. I still don't know what's wrong with it - it just decides to freezes randomly. In the next few days, I'm going to try a reinstall, avoid SP2 and keep my fingers crossed. Short of that, it's down to replacing hardware. Ugh.

Before the problems started, I managed to finish off all the new interface code required to support the advanced MIDI features. And I don't anticipate too many problems with the MIDI code - it should just be a straight map of tracker commands to MIDI messages. I've also had some feedback saying that the interface looks a bit 'old skool' / 'clunky', so without straying from the IT recipe too much, I've tried to prototype a more streamlined UI (though it won't be implemented until 0.87).
