Like I said before. I'm on holiday. In different country. Of course reViSiT will continue, but let me finish my Martini first, ok?

I get back to England tomorrow, at which point I have to start preparing for a meeting I've secured that might put reViSiT on the fast track, so to speak. In any case, the next release should come fairly swiftly upon my return.

Ciao for niao,
Chris

The model I have in mind is as I have previously described - a free light/standard version and an affordable advanced/professional version. The scheme I've applied for will help me set all this up and hopefully give me grounds to expend more time on reViSiT.

Ur, no. When I say "fast track", it was meant as a pun. You know, a joke. Like Fast Tracker's interface.  Oo... that one's gonna get me flamed.

All the best,
Chris

I'll let you know when I've had it - it's scheduled for a week this Thursday, in Birmingham.

Wish me [us] luck!

All the best,
Chris

'Fraid so - I didn't get the gig. Presentation and interview went well, but the panel thought a software concern with only one product was... well, a concern. It's slightly annoying, given that I approached them with several ideas and was told to focus on just one in the first place.

In anycase, reViSiT will still continue, but I'm still gonna have to earn my bread and butter with other projects. I have one such project on at the moment, but that is the only thing taking up my time at the moment - which should leave me plenty of opportunities to hammer away at reViSiT.

In an effort to recreate the notebook I lost in Rome (the one containing all the lists of reViSiT ideas, schedules, bugs, etc.), I've started work on an interactive online support system for reViSiT which will not only allow me to reconstruct these lists online - but also allow users to submit and track their suggestions and bug reports. Users will also be able to vote for the features they would like to see included/prioritised. Hopefully, together, we can remember all the ideas that were lost, and the online nature of the project will help prevent such occurences in the future.

There will be a new version soon, as soon as I work out two things: a couple of problems with the new keyboard handling mechanism; and, what I have already changed in the current (unreleased) development version.

All the best,
Chris

sorry things didnt work out--- you shouldve just shown them how many people have bought into tracker programs such as renoise and how revisit could have been the perfect solution to a modular version of that (invading any host it wished)...

either way i cant wait to see what happens next!

I will try to support when i can chris ($)
