another small feature request

when copying a pattern with for example 256 lines to the clipboard and pasting it to a new pattern, it would be handy if there would be a dialogue, which asks if the new pattern should get automatically resized to fit the data from the clipboard.

in impulsetracker, alt-p would paste a 128row pattern to a 64 row pattern - whilst keeping it as a 64 row pattern.

if you however press alt-o twice (128row pattern in clipboard, on 64row pattern) - the 64row pattern will be resized to 128rows.

this is how revisit should be too. after all, revisit is supposed to be based on impulsetracker, right?

I hate dialogues, but as I alluded to elsewhere, I'll think about the Alt-O/P double tap option.

Esa: I can't reproduce the Alt-O auto-extend functionality in Impulse Tracker. Are you sure it was there?

no chris impulsetracker probably didnt do it.

fegi however requested it, and so did i, for revisit, not for impulsetracker.

impulsetracker isnt revisit, revisit isnt impulsetracker - why go and snoop around in impulsetracker for a feature request  and why would you even bother opening that exe when you can asdfljkasdflköasdfklö,asdf, asdasdf,ö

no chris i am not sure that impulsfdaasdfasdfafsdadfsdfassetracker dsfaadfsadfsadfsadfsdid the alt-o double resize pattern.

reqfewhatshisnameqi uested it, and i requsadfest it.

so let me rephrase:impulsetracker didnt dadfsdsafdafsdasfdfasadfsdafsafdsafdso it - neither is revisit impulsetracker.

Chris Nash: "this isn't how Iadsfdsfadsfalse Tracker adsadasfdsafsadfsadtwewtatewaewtaewtasdfadsfasdfdsafdsafdsasadfdsafdsfadfsadsfdasfdafsdidnt do it, revisit isnt impulsetracker, and its still a useful feature.dsfalsfdalsdfaöldlöaölasdflöasdf

i guess chris was just researching, to see how this feature and the double keystrokes were implemented in impulse tracker to get an idea how to implement it in revisit. and he did that, since you stated it is was already in it. no reason to be offensive...we're all buddies here, right?
