Subject: bmp import?

I was wondering if revisit has inherrited a function i remember from impulsetracker namely, the ability to import/convert other files (example: bmp) as audio? this is something i've been looking for as it means i don't have to bother with dosbox which i can't get to work anyway and the results are always original and unexpected.
If anyone knows i'd be interested to know.

thanx in advance

What you want is 'raw' import, where the extension can be anything, not just BMPs.. Dunno if that's been scheduled..

At some stage, I do plan to extend the list of supported audio file formats, and I haven't ruled out a RAW option yet, but it's not a current priority.

There are, however, lots of programs that will allow you to convert RAW (or BMP) to .WAV files, without resorting to DosBox. Sound Forge used to do it - though I don't know if that's one of the features they dropped when Sony got their claws into it.
