I read in the readme.txt that multiple effects per row (sans interface) were enabled in .86.5:

Audio Effects Engine re-written. All row effects
should now behave exactly as in IT2. New engine
supports multiple effects per row (not accesible
in interface yet).

Seeing as we're now at .94, were multiple effects implemented and I'm just too daft to see it?

Is there a keyboard shortcut to add a new effects column?

Hi Chris

Will reViSiT ever have multiple effect columns per channel row? It would be very nice to see this, as well as multiple notes per channel row.

Hi newnumbertwo,

Sorry for never replying to your original post - must have slipped me by!

Definitely. The earlier allusion to support for it, in the update history, was to reassure users that I'm future-proofing reViSiT for all eventualities! Per reViSiT's design, it should be simple for me to enable extra effect processing in the audio engine, but I haven't done any work on adding this to the patten editor yet.

The feature was never on the feature list for v1.0; but now that that's passed, there's a number of innovations I want to make that have been on the wishlists for both myself and other users (multiple pitches, multiple effects, finer timing control, keyboard customisation, write symphony wizard, cure cancer button, etc.). With yesterday's release, I hope to be transfering my efforts from maintenance (viz. bug fixing) to design (viz. bug adding).

Stay tuned!

Best,
Chris

would be well up for this one now as well, since I just discovered controlling my sampler effects from ReViSiT with the MIDI effects! Would be nice to do a filter sweep while still being able to retrigger or do a note cut on drums for example.
