Location: Austria		i have a question about bpm settings in the host (in general). so far i did set quite high values (between 300 and 500), to have enough speed in revisit for 1/16 or 1/32 notes - which is afaik the only way to do it to date. am i doing something completely wrong or do i have to do it that way? i wondered about this lately because i can't use the built in metronome of my host for example because of this - it ticks like crazy

Location: Netherlands		I noted the same thing earlier, but then in context of pattern zooming. For 32th notes you indeed need insane BPM speeds, unless you like to fiddle around with the SDx command, or unless you like to fiddle with pre-recorded audio representing those 32th notes, e.g. a harp glissando.

Yes there is an issue here : the number of rows per beat is fixed by ReViSiT at 4 rows per beat.

Maybe a solution would be adding an extra setting in order to set up the number of rows per beat?

Location: England		Yup - still alive, but have been taking a short holiday during the move back from Hamburg to Cambridge. High-res pattern editing is coming on nicely. User interface, data types and storage mechanisms are all largely done - just some tinkering with the sequencing engine remains.

'Will give a fuller report once I get settled back into some kind of routine.
