Sorry to hear of your difficulties. I know others have managed to activate Sonar successfully. Here's a potentially-relevant excerpt from the FAQ:
"If you having problems with the activation code you have entered, you should make sure that you have entered the numbers 0 (zero), 1 (one) or 5 (five), rather than any similar looking letters (e.g. O, I, l, or S). If you still have trouble activating reViSiT, follow the instructions for seeking further assistance, and we will do our best to help."
