Location: Netherlands | The problem with demo songs is that they only prove that you can input notes they way they sound in that demo. If you're using revisit's own samples then demosongs prove that the samples sound like what they are. If you control VSTi's then demosongs prove that the VSTi's sound like what they are. It's comparable with situations where people ask what a Synclavier or a Fairlight sounds like .. well, euhm.. like a sampler.. thus like anything you feed into it. |

Location: England | There was one demo song available from the download page, but it was written in a very old version of reViSiT (VSTrack, actually).
Instead, you might just try finding some Impulse Tracker (.IT) or Fast Tracker (.XM) files to load up, if you want to see a song in action - there are loads knocking around on the web.

| OK, I've found some .it and .xm files on the web. Not sure I've found a good source though as the app crashes when loading some of them...
I'm new to tracking so I just wanted something to get me started on how instruments, effect commands, order list could be used.
I'm reading the very good documentation - (and Chris' report, which is fantastic) so I'm on tracker, so to speak ;-) |

Location: Netherlands | Tracking is a cookie, it's basically like x0x sequencing, but then more advanced. It resembles classic score notation in terms of thinking so if you have a traditional musical education you'll find yourself at home easily. |

Location: England | ZooTook,
Can you send me copies of some files which cause crashing, so I can debug reViSiT with them?
Cheers,
